Mozambican artist Isabel Novella grew up surrounded by music. She travelled to dozens of festivals round Europe with her musician family and composed her first song at the age of ten. She wrote and composed her maiden album, which she sings in Portuguese, English, Zulu and Chopi/Shangana, in a style that she defines as "pop-world soul".
